Boys and Girls Club visit!

It is always a great day for art and bingo at the club, but today was even more exciting when we were joined by 22 wonderful friends from the Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head.

Some of us did an art project! Some of us had a very fun and rousing game of bingo.

The program members are working on watercolor and acrylic paintings in
 preparation for our art show in the fall.
Today's lesson was creating from the Masters.
We each took a style we liked and replicated it on paper.

Organization of the Year!

Memory Matters           is honored to be recognized as the             ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR                              by the   Hilton Head/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce!

We are honored and thrilled to be recognized as the Organization of the Year by the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.  There are so many wonderful, strong, non-profit organizations in our community that do amazing work, that this designation is extra special and truly meaningful. It is with both pride and humility that I want to share this good news!    I also want to thank Steve Wilmot of the Heritage Classic Foundation; John Farrell, PGA Golf Professional and Head of Golf at Harbourtown; Dr. Chuck Duvall, MD; and Lynne Hummell, editor of Hilton Head Sun/Bluffton Sun for the video testimonials shown at the Fire and Ice Chamber ball.  Their kind words and support were heartfelt, moving and powerful.  They opened their hearts to the community in support of Memory Matters.   We are very grateful to the Chamber of Commerce!....they also deserve recognition!  Our local chamber has been honored as the 2014 National Chamber of the Year!   Our entire community has much to be proud of.   To our volunteers, board members, donors, grantors, and the families we serve:  thank you, thank you, thank you!  You are all part of our Memory Matters family...and an integral part of our team.   Enjoy the photos!   Eddy Hoyle
